Javier Bello helps to celebrate court refurbishment in the capital

The courts contain some of the sand from the London 2012 Olympics venue in Horse Guards Parade.
Bello, a recent EuroBeachVolley 2023 quarter-finalist along with brother Joaquin, took part in an exhibition match along with members of the Household Cavalry and players from Wimbledon Park Beach Volleyball Club.

Councillor Ross Garrod, Leader of Merton Council, who runs the beach volleyball facility, said: “As part of our mission to become London’s borough of sport we want to encourage more people to get active and involved in sport.
