Project manager sought to drive forward bold Commonwealth Games legacy plans

Volleyball England is recruiting a project manager to coordinate the delivery of our ambitious Commonwealth Games legacy plans.

In collaboration with the Volleyball Family, many key early milestones around the 'Our Time To Shine' legacy pillars of venue and equipment; participation; volunteers; and profile and performance have been achieved.

For instance, we are in promising talks around a legacy beach volleyball venue in the West Midlands. We are also working to support clubs run 'come and try volleyball' sessions and recently announced a partnership between the Aston Villa Foundation and the Volleyball England Foundation to deliver volleyball to hundreds of children in Birmingham

Moving ahead, we want to bring on board a dedicated person, a Commonwealth Games Legacy Consultant, to drive our plans forward.

The ideal person will be a go-getter with bags of energy and a real passion for volleyball. They'll have experience of leading teams and budgeting and have great communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Working with clubs and the wider community, they'll project manage each stream from the legacy strategy to ensure it is delivered and fully implemented.
