Online briefing session for beach volleyball referees

Volleyball England is pleased to announce a first online briefing session for beach volleyball referees will take place on 23rd April from 7pm to 8.30pm.

It is part of the organisation’s 2024-25 CPD programme for registered referees and will be led by Jeff Brehaut and Debra Smart. 

The free session will include a briefing of the rules, details of the Volleyball England Respect Campaign and UKBT match protocols.  

Referees who hold a beach volleyball referee qualification, and are registered with Volleyball England, have been sent an email inviting them to the session.  

If you are a registered referee with an indoor qualification, and would like to join the session, you can book on via VolleyZone, following the steps below.  

How to register your space 

• Visit the VolleyZone events portal by clicking here. 
• Click the green ‘Purchase/Register For Events’ button.  
• Log into your VolleyZone account.  
• Find the Beach Referee 2024-25 Season Briefing (webinar) in the event list. 
• Click add to basket (if you do not have the option to add the event to your basket, please ensure that you are registered as a referee).  
• Click continue under the basket.  
• Fill out the registration form and continue to checkout. The webinar is free, but you will need to proceed through checkout to book your space. 

Joining the meeting and additional support

 The link to join the Microsoft Teams meeting will then be sent out on the morning of the meeting.
